Why It Matters

The transition from high school to college is the most vulnerable time for girls in frontier regions. Many lose access to school, safety, guidance, and stability. Without support, even the most determined girls can be pulled off their path.

The Alumni Mentor Leadership Accelerator ensures they stay in school, stay supported, and step fully into leadership — while mentoring at least 30 younger girls each.

When you support a GOF Mentor, you multiply your impact across homes, classrooms, and communities.

Our Approach

The Accelerator sustains 10 Alumni Mentors throughout the year with monthly support that includes:

• School essentials (internet bundles, printing, exam fees, materials)

• Leadership and mentorship training

• Emotional wellness and counseling

• Career development

• Weekly mentorship transport to reach the 30 younger girls they guide

• Basic needs and safety support

• Annual Leadership Camp (travel, meals, lodging, supplies)

• End-of-Year Community Service Project

Total Annual Cost: $7,200

To sustain the full cohort of 10 mentors.
This equals $720 per mentor per year, or $60 per month.

How to Help

Every contribution helps us sustain a movement where girls rise, mentor others, and lead with courage and clarity.

Our 2026 Goal

In 2026, we are launching the first cohort of 10 Alumni Mentors, supporting them through the full one-year Accelerator.

These 10 young women will mentor at least 300 younger girls across Kenya.

Our Yearly Expansion

In 2027, we plan to add 10 more Alumni Mentors, doubling the cohort to 20 mentors total.

This will expand our reach to 600 younger girls mentored every year.
