My name is Valerie Elizabeth Cruzat, and I founded Future Leaders Inspired (FLI) to give young people in Ghana a chance to dream, grow, and lead through Arts, Culture, and Technology.
Across Elmina, Ghana, many children face daily challenges that no child should endure limited access to education, creative outlets, and even regular meals. FLI was created to change that.
Today, we serve over 350 youth, providing free access to creative learning, school support, and daily meals. Each month, we host hands-on sessions in art, culture, and technology, along with life coaching and goal-setting workshops that help our youth discover their purpose and plan for their future.
Every year, our work culminates in a 7-day ACT Wellness Camp a transformative experience that builds confidence, creativity, and leadership skills. For many of these children, it’s their first time being part of something that truly invests in who they are and who they can become.
