Finn's Lemonade Stand for the Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation 💙🍋

In 2022, our lives changed forever when our son, Finn, was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome. It was one of the most frightening and uncertain times our family has ever experienced. Overnight, we found ourselves learning about a rare kidney disease that we had never even heard of, while trying to help our little boy navigate hospital visits, medications, blood work, and the emotional challenges that come with living with a chronic illness.

Nephrotic Syndrome is a kidney disorder that causes the kidneys to leak large amounts of protein into the urine instead of keeping it in the bloodstream where it belongs. This can lead to severe swelling, weight gain from fluid retention, fatigue, an increased risk of infections, and other serious complications. While many children respond to treatment, there is currently no cure, and relapses are common. Families often live with the uncertainty of not knowing when the next relapse will occur, making it a lifelong journey for many.

Throughout Finn's journey, we've experienced firsthand the importance of research, education, and support for families affected by Nephrotic Syndrome. That's why Finn wanted to do something to help other children and families facing the same diagnosis.

We're excited to host Finn's Lemonade Stand , with all proceeds benefiting the Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation. In addition to fresh lemonade, we'll have a variety of other items available for purchase at the stand, making it a fun event for the whole community while supporting an important cause.

If you're unable to attend in person but would still like to support Finn's mission, donations can also be made through our fundraising website. Whether you donate online, stop by the lemonade stand, or purchase one of the items we'll have available, every contribution helps raise awareness and supports research, patient education, advocacy, and resources for families living with Nephrotic Syndrome.

We're also asking for the support of our amazing local community. If you're a business owner or would like to contribute, we are looking for donated gift baskets, gift cards, products, or services that we can raffle off at the conclusion of the lemonade stand fundraiser. Your generosity will help us raise even more money for this incredible cause, and we'd love the opportunity to recognize and thank everyone who donates.
