Nephrotic Syndrome is a serious and rare auto-immune disease that affects the kidneys and stops them from working. There is no known cause and no cure. Every day, we find more kids battling Nephrotic Syndrome without support—until now. NSF's Backpacks of Hope offers a child a backpack full of comfort items, medical supplies, and educational materials. Inside is a warm blanket, swell-style water bottle, medical supplies, over-ear headphones, a gift for the patient and siblings, important educational information, and much more. Each backpack is a personal connection to others on the same journey.
