Stories help us understand each other.  Stories of people who have lived between cultures carry experiences that can challenge assumptions, spark empathy, and build connection across divides.

The Wonderlust Storytelling Institute exists to bring those stories to life. And we need your help. Can you help us launch our next phase?

The Wonderlust Storytelling Institute is a creative incubator for emerging writers who have lived away from their home countries. Through our intensive 12-week program, participants learn how to transform their cross-cultural experiences into powerful narratives for the stage and screen. They receive expert instruction, hands-on training, mentorship from industry professionals, and the support of a creative community committed to helping them develop their voice.

By the end of the program, each storyteller will have written a first draft of an original theatrical script rooted in their lived experience. They will also present a live preview of their work to an audience of community members and industry professionals.

But this program is about more than writing scripts. 

It is about creating stories that help people see one another more fully. Stories that challenge stereotypes. Stories that foster empathy. Stories that remind us of our shared humanity.
