Integrated Schools prepares families with racial or economic privilege to commit to integrating our children, driving new narratives about education, and advocating for justice in our public schools.
How you can help us this Giving Tuesday.
When families choose integrated public schools, kids thrive, communities get stronger, and parents rediscover something rare: freedom from fear-driven parenting. So today, instead of another scented candle or monogrammed cheese board, give a gift that actually changes lives.
Every Giving Tuesday donation fuels Integrated Schools—a movement of families choosing to show up for justice right where they live.
How contributions will be used for Giving Tuesday.
Every donation we receive supports the work of carrying the message of Integrated Schools; supporting the Podcast, Chapters and the IS Network, our Book Club, all programs that rely on people to share our theory of change and support others to do the same.
![]() | Integrated Schools was founded in 2015 by Courtney Everts Mykytyn, as a group of mostly White parents. Informed by researchers and thought leaders of color, we encourage families with racial or economic privilege to enroll our children in schools where they are not in the majority, with the understanding that when we arrive, our impact matters more than our intent.
White parents continue to be the key barrier to redressing the imbalance of racial and educational power in our systems of education. We aim to redress that imbalance of power in our systems of education with this grassroots movement that engages in relationship building, education, self-reflection and behavior change. |
Our Giving Tuesday Call to Action
We are humbly asking for your support during these difficult times, any amount you can contribute to this work is meaningful and appreciated.
What is Giving Tuesday?
We continue to be a largely volunteer run organization, but this year have made the important transition to include compensation for support staffing. This has been a pivotal moment in this work, and in order to sustain and grow, we need the support of contributors like you.
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the decade, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
