Join Mx. Yaffa for eight intensive sessions to discuss building Utopia, a collectively liberated world. This program is built around Yaffa's book Letters From a Living Utopia, published by Common Notions Oct 2025.
Required Reading: Letters from a Living Utopia, order here or purchase a signed copy below
A love letter to liberation, from Palestine to the ground beneath your feet.
When you think of freedom, where are you? And where are you headed? Dreaming of freedom from within the occupied and displaced worlds of Palestine, Letters from a Living Utopia engages with utopia as both a destination and a potential present. Addressing past and future selves among other crucial figures, Mx. Yaffa builds epistolary bridges in these pages, connecting the historical struggle for liberation of the land and its people with the intimate ways that we can recover hope–now and in the years to come.
Emerging during a time of generational dispossession, monstrous genocide, and personal pain, Letters from a Living Utopia is a journey of resilient repair that will leave every reader with the deeply felt certainty that Palestine will be free, but also that Palestine has always been free.
Optional Reading: Whispers Beneath the Orange Grove, order here or purchase a signed copy below
Whispers Beneath the Orange Grove is an essay collection where Yaffa blends personal narratives with strategies to build a liberated world grounded in mutual aid, community care, and collectivism. Rooted in Indigenous Palestinian culture and guided by love, spirituality, and belonging, Yaffa offers a compelling vision and practical tools for organizers and mobilizers-both new and experienced-dedicated to creating a just world.
Reflecting on experiences like being unhoused and navigating psychosis, Yaffa emphasizes survival and resistance strategies. Drawing on lessons from post-9/11, the collection addresses the current rise of fascism and presents tools like community care as a practice to strengthen collective bonds. Critically engaging with settler colonialism, the essays focus on the most marginalized, offering a roadmap for collective liberation and a more just future.

Eight-Session Political Education & Organizing Series
An expansive, open-access training rooted in collective liberation. This 8-session training series starting the first weekend of December is an expansive offering built by Mx. Yaffa through their organizing work for over 15 years across dozens of countries and hundreds of communities. This program is open to all. Please keep in mind that this is not a vetted space and participants do not necessarily have a direct relationship with Yaffa. This program is designed to be highly accessible—no cohort structure, no requirement to attend all sessions, and access to stipends to ensure financial accessibility (DM yaffa on instagram @yaffasutopia to request a stipend, please keep in mind stipend funds are limited and we can not guarantee funds).
Each session is 2.5 hours long and stands alone, allowing individuals to engage as their time and interest allow. This is not a fellowship model—it’s broader and more flexible, intended to grow with our people and our movements.
Sessions will be held Sundays starting December 7th at 9AM PST.
For this series, each session is designed to support organizers and movement workers in deepening their practice, regardless of positional power, experience, or formal role.
