About B Local Bay Area

B Local Bay Area is a volunteer-led, independently run organization dedicated to serving our vibrant community of Certified B Corporations and purpose-driven businesses. As part of a global network of B Locals, we bring together people using business as a force for good to create meaningful connections, foster collaboration, and strengthen the impact of our local B Corp ecosystem.

At the heart of every B Local are Certified B Corporations—companies committed to transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. In the Bay Area alone, more than 200 Certified B Corps call this region home, making B Local Bay Area the largest B Local in the U.S. and Canada.

Our volunteer board organizes community events, leads mission-aligned initiatives, builds partnerships, and provides opportunities for learning and growth. While Certified B Corps make up the core of our community, we welcome all individuals and organizations who share a commitment to using business as a force for good.

B Local Bay Area works in close collaboration with B Lab U.S. & Canada and is fiscally sponsored by Social Good Fund.
