Take Back Trust was born out of a simple but urgent truth: people deserve to feel safe, informed, and in control of their own healthcare—no matter who’s in power.
I’m Nikki Sapiro Vinckier, an OBGYN Physician Assistant who spent over a decade working in reproductive medicine. After being fired for publicly supporting abortion access and LGBTQ+ care, I saw firsthand how fear, politics, and misinformation can strip patients of trust in a system that’s supposed to protect them. So I built Take Back Trust—a digital empowerment platform that helps people navigate reproductive healthcare in a post-Roe America.
Through educational guides, self-advocacy toolkits, and partnerships with trusted legal and medical organizations, Take Back Trust equips patients to protect themselves and their rights—whether they’re in a supportive state or one where care is restricted.
Our work centers those most impacted by today’s healthcare crisis:
-
People seeking abortions in restricted states who need to know their legal and medical options.
-
Teens and LGBTQ+ individuals who often face stigma and misinformation in care.
-
Survivors who deserve safe, affirming, and accurate guidance.
We’ve already launched a national library of “Know Your Rights” guides, provider planning toolkits, and a digital chatbot named Charley that connects users to abortion care in all 50 states. But we’re just getting started.
Your donation helps us:
-
Expand our digital tools and resource library
-
Build a mobile-first platform that meets people where they are
-
Fund collaborations with youth-led, LGBTQ+, and survivor-focused partners
-
Train and pay our next generation of creative fellows—young advocates designing for their own communities
Reproductive care shouldn’t depend on luck, location, or politics. Together, we can help people take back trust—in their care, their bodies, and themselves.
