This workshop is an opportunity to step back, slow down, and
connect with the foundations of mindfulness. It’s designed both for
those curious about beginning a practice and for those who wish to
return to one they’ve known before.
Over six hours, you’ll explore what mindfulness is (and isn’t),
how it supports well-being, and explore simple pathways to integrate
‘the practice’ into daily life. We’ll look at topics like the
neuroscience of habit change, the role of an anchor in our
mindfulness practice, and how mindfulness can help with stress,
balance, and clarity.
Each theme is paired with guided practice — including sitting
meditation, mindful walking, the body scan, mindful eating, and
compassion practice — so you can experience mindfulness directly as
you learn.
You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what mindfulness feels
like, practical tools to draw on, and a renewed connection to
presence that can support your work, relationships, and daily routines.
Step away for a day — and return with a steadier, more grounded awareness.
Cost:
This event if being offered on a donation basis. We believe
strongly in making all of our events available to anyone who wants
to participate. These donations go directly to our being able to
make more offerings available to more people regardless of income.
We hope you will give generously.
Our suggested donation rates to consider are:
- High Income: $125
- Medium Income: $60
- Low Income: $10
